Who we are

This website is operated by Production Solutions SRL, and we are the data controller for the personal data described here.

  • Address: Chaussée de Jette 446 box 16, 1090 Jette, Brussels, Belgium
  • Company and VAT number: BE 0771.666.672
  • Email:

If you have any question about this policy or about your personal data, email us at the address above. A person reads it.

What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form. We collect your name, your email address, your company name if you choose to give it, and whatever you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss the work you are enquiring about.

When you visit any page. Our hosting provider records standard technical information in server logs, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This happens on essentially every website and is used to keep the site running securely.

Analytics. We use Counter, a privacy-focused analytics service running on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It sets no cookies, does no logging and does no IP fingerprinting, and it collects nothing that identifies you personally: the page visited, the country, the device type, and the site you arrived from. There is no profile of you and nothing is passed to advertisers.

Embedded video. Some pages may include video hosted by a third party such as YouTube or Vimeo. Those players do not load automatically. You will see a still image with a play button, and nothing reaches the video platform unless you click it. If you do, that platform's own privacy policy governs what happens next.

This website sets no cookies at all, which is why you have not been asked to agree to any. More on that in our Cookies page.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have simply used the contact form.

The legal basis for using your data

Under the GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each use.

  • Replying to your enquiry: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • Keeping the site running and secure: our legitimate interest in operating the website.
  • Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. Because the measurement is cookieless and does not identify anyone, no consent is required.
  • Embedded video: your consent, given by choosing to click play. Nothing loads until you do.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months from our last correspondence, so that we have context if you come back to us.
  • Where an enquiry becomes a project, the enquiry stops being governed by this policy and becomes client data under our General Terms and Conditions, which set a retention period of ten years from the end of the contractual relationship. That longer period exists because contract, accounting and tax law require it.
  • Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
  • Analytics data: aggregate visit counts only, with nothing personal attached to them.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions.

  • Our hosting provider, EasyHost, based in Belgium, who host the website.
  • Resend, the email service that delivers your contact form message to our inbox. Resend is a United States company, and that transfer is covered by the EU standard contractual clauses.
  • Counter, our analytics service, which runs on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Video platforms, where a page embeds their player and you have consented.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Transfers outside Europe

Our hosting is in Belgium. The one part of your enquiry that leaves the EU is the delivery of the contact form message, which passes through Resend in the United States under the EU standard contractual clauses.

Our analytics runs on servers in Frankfurt, so ordinary use of this website involves no transfer of your data outside the EEA.

The other exception is video. If you choose to play an embedded video, the platform hosting it may be based outside the EEA and will receive data at that point. That is why video does not load until you ask it to.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your data
  • restrict how we use it
  • provide it in a portable format
  • stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest

There is no cookie consent to withdraw, because no cookies are set.

Email and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. If you are an existing client, our General Terms and Conditions give for the same purpose, and either address reaches us.

Cookies

This site sets none. Set out in full, and briefly, on our Cookies page.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first, because we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Belgian supervisory authority:

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in quietly.
